Sach was started by first-generation Indian immigrants, Tarush and Jasleen. They moved to the US (separately) with dreams and aspirations and a sense of purpose to pursue higher education. Over the last decade, the SF Bay Area gave them inspiration, grit, and boldness to pursue something original that improves their quality of life and others’ around them. In that pursuit, they found each other and together, they founded Sach.
“As vegetarians, we found it very hard to access good tasting food that’s high in protein and low in carbs. We realized a lot of vegetarians face a similar predicament; that is what inspired us to recreate paneer.”
Paneer is an all-natural, healthy cheese that has been used in Indian cuisine for centuries. Their predicament became their motivation and inspiration to recreate the basics from their rich cultural heritage and integrate it with the needs of today to make their own creations, using the best natural ingredients.
